Police hunting for man over explosions on Kunming buses

Police in Kunming, Yunnan province, are hunting for a young man in relation to the fatal bomb blasts on city buses on July 21 after he was seen on closed-circuit TV tapes taken from the area.

Man gets life for killing brother

A man used a hammer to beat his brother to death because of an alleged rape attempt against his wife, a jury found yesterday.

Habib Ahmed, 27, was unanimously found guilty by a jury in the Court of First Instance for the murder of his brother, Malik Hussain, 29, on October 31 last year.

Brother killed in revenge for rape bid, court told

A Pakistani guard was beaten to death, probably with a large hammer, in revenge for having tried to rape his brother's wife, a court heard yesterday.

The body of night-shift caretaker Malik Hussain, 29, was found in a pool of blood on October 31 last year at the Tsuen Wan factory where he worked, the Court of First Instance was told. He had suffered severe head injuries.
