Tysan plans to invest HK$1b in Shenyang development

Tysan Holdings will invest HK$1 billion in phases to develop a 41,340 square metre site in Shenyang into a multiple-usage complex, said executive director Jennifer Kwok.

Tysan suffers property fall

Tysan Holdings suffered a loss of $255.46 million in the year to March 31 due to $296.97 million in provisions against property, receivables and investments in associates.

The company said it was the first time it had recorded a loss since the existing management took over in 1993. It recorded a profit of $27.12 million a year ago.

Tysan sees turnover surge

Foundation-piling group Tysan Holdings reported attributable profit of $27 million in the year to March 31 from $126 million in the previous year. The group posted an unspecified exceptional loss of $21.15 million, compared with an exceptional gain previously of $39.5 million. Turnover increased 91 per cent to $1.4 billion. No dividend is being paid for the year.

Chee Shing changes name

CHEE Shing Holdings has changed its name to Tysan Holdings.

The change in name does not affect existing shares.
