Ethnic minorities on learning curve

Expatriate and ethnic minorities both contribute to the diversity that defines the city. What sets them apart more than anything is educational opportunity.

Minorities 'welcome'

Most young people in Hong Kong like to make friends with ethnic minorities, a survey found.

The finding came after the Equal Opportunities Commission said last month that the Education Bureau was not doing enough to help ethnic minorities integrate into society. The bureau must provide better Chinese language teaching to them, the commission said earlier.
