Robowaiter won't take side-orders

Do you fancy being served by a robot in a restaurant? Although it sounds like something that could only happen in movies or cartoons, Hong Kong's first robot restaurant has now opened in Tseung Kwan O.

The western-style dining place features three robots, with a 'waiter' taking orders, a 'worker' bringing the food and an 'entertainer' dancing around.

Bar must survive in competitive market

I refer to the letter from Rita Lok regarding her experience in Caledonia (Sunday Morning Post, August 18).

It is my understanding of the situation that Ms Lok arrived in Caledonia at 5.40pm on Wednesday, August 7, not August 5, or at 6.30pm, as she claimed.

She ordered two soft drinks and a snack.
