The entrance to Yat Tan's 2,800 sq ft Mid-Levels triplex penthouse is on Rednaxela Terrace, a curious street name purported to have come about after a sign painter accidentally wrote 'Alexander' in reverse. Such quirkiness can also be found in Tan's home, which frequently breaks design conventions.

Gas leak fears bring traffic to a halt in Causeway Bay

The sound of a bus tyre blowing out may have been mistaken for a minor gas explosion in an incident that brought a section of Causeway Bay to a standstill yesterday evening.

A Citybus bus was turning from Wan Chai Road onto Morrison Hill Road when the driver heard a loud bang.

For true Hongkongers, the weather is never too hot for hotpot. Lucky Group has just opened a second branch of Megan's Kitchen, in Jordan. The original, in Wan Chai, is known for its creative soup bases for hot pot - such as the tom yum koong cappuccino.
