Water Authority

Long wait

The Water Authority should modernise its management practice. I was moving house and needed to establish a new account with the utilities.

Long wait for water meter deposit unacceptable

As a last resort, I feel compelled to write this letter to complain about the services of the Office of the Water Authority.

The Catholic Mission of Rennie's Mill Village was officially closed on September 19, last year.

When I handed the keys to the Housing Department, I asked about the refund of the deposits for the water and electricity meters.

Serious flush water problem

OVER 100 families in Block 1, Willow Mansions, Whampoa Garden, have experienced frequent suspension of flush water supply since September, of last year.

In the first few months, the cessation of flush water happened once or twice every month. Such an occasional malfunction might have been acceptable in such a large residential area, but then things got worse.

Inconvenience over toilets

THE water supply for toilets in buildings on Ap Lei Chau Main Street is often cut off. Thus we are forced to use tap water which means toilets are washed less thoroughly.

Several complaints have been made to the Water Authority but there has been no improvement.

Let's not waste precious water

I HAVE just received another bill from the Water Authority telling me that I have to pay HK$0.00 for water consumption. Luckily for me, I only consumed 14 cubic metres of water which is equal to my ''free allowance'', hence, no charge.
