Zeng Guo, the groom's father and boss of Chongqing-based Fuxing Doors Industry Group, spent an alleged five million yuan (HK$6.3 million) on the “most expensive wedding in Chongqing’s history”, the Chongqing Morning News reported on Sunday.

Lam Chi-ho overcame a two-decade-long addiction to drugs on a remote island off Sai Kung, where he found God and the love of his life.

Chi-ho, 38, had been addicted to cough syrup and crystal meth since he was 15. He had tried to quit many times before, succeeding in 2009, after spending nine months at a drug rehabilitation centre run by Christian group Operation Dawn on Town Island.

After hearing the question 6 times, at last she said yes

Fannie Cheung, a public relations officer and Yu Lau, a chef, met in 2010 when they were introduced by friends. They married on November 10.

They had only been dating for three days when Yu Lau asked Fannie Cheung to marry him. Thinking he was joking, Fannie ignored him. So Yu persisted. For the next several days, he asked again every night.

"I think it was after the fifth or sixth time that I said yes, thinking that he couldn't be serious," Fannie said. "But he cried the moment I said yes. So I was like, uh-oh!"
