A police agent went undercover for eight months to help bust the Yau Ma Tei faction of the Wo Shing Wo triad and arrest 46 people, police said on Wednesday afternoon.

Fatal chopping in broad daylight linked to long-standing triad feud

Four suspected triad members have been arrested in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old man, nicknamed Mouse Shing. Mouse Shing was hacked to death by two masked men with an axe and a meat cleaver outside North District Hospital in Sheung Shui.

Yuen Long crackdown on triads leads to 93 arrests

Ninety-three people have been rounded up in a crackdown on two triad factions during which an unlicensed pub in a Yuen Long factory was busted.

More than half of those arrested in raids in Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai over the past two days are suspected members of the Wo Shing Wo or 14K gangs. Last night, police were still hunting 15 or 16 others, including the two triad leaders.

Police smash triad gangs

Police believe they have smashed two triad gangs after an eight-month undercover operation that ended in a series of raids on Sunday and Monday with the arrest of 29 people.

Six Pakistanis among the arrested men were suspected members of the Wo Shing Wo triad, active in Yuen Long, according to police.
