A report headlined 'Taiwan chipmaker targets US$150m from listing in Tokyo' on Monday incorrectly stated that Xinhua Finance shares had fallen 58 per cent since an initial public offering in Japan in 2004. The report failed to take into account a three-for-one stock split in September 2005. Xinhua Finance shares have risen almost 30 per cent since their listing.
