'Miracle girl' Yiyi may be moved to Shanghai

The 'miracle' toddler pulled alive from the Wenzhou bullet train crash 15 hours after the search for survivors was called off may soon be transferred to a leading Shanghai hospital to save her badly-injured leg.

Two-and-a-half-year-old orphan Xiang Weiyi- better known by the nickname 'Yiyi'- has been in intensive care in a Wenzhou hospital.

'Miracle girl' Yiyi fights back after developing fever

The orphaned toddler who was pulled alive from the Wenzhou bullet train crash hours after rescue efforts were officially abandoned has returned to a stable condition after developing a fever over the weekend.

Xiang Weiyi - better known by her nickname 'Yiyi' - remained in isolation in intensive care yesterday, but her temperature had returned to normal, doctors said.

Surgery for 'miracle' survivor Yiyi after injured leg turns gangrenous

The 'miracle' survivor of Saturday's high-speed rail crash, Xiang Weiyi , was due to undergo an operation yesterday to remove infected tissue from her injured left leg, while a procession of well-wishers flooded the hospital to bring gifts of toys and cash.
