Zero 7's The Garden offers sun-drenched retro synth with a touch of French pop flair.

The London-based duo is comprised of producers Henry Binns and Sam Hardaker, who are famous for their fuzzy, lounge-heavy sound. The veterans have collaborated with such top dogs as Pet Shop Boys and Radiohead.

Despite a name that suggests otherwise, the concept of 'chill out' music is now staler than that rotting head of broccoli at the back of the fridge. So, it's a phrase to be avoided from here in - let's just call it 'slow music,' because there are a handful of superb moments on When it Falls.
