Chinese director Jia Zhangke on his bid for the Palme d'Or

Chinese director Jia Zhangke, in Cannes to present his controversial "A Touch of Sin" in competition for the film fest's Palme d'Or, says his country's authorities will allow the film to be shown uncensored despite it highlighting corruption among Chinese officials, sexual violence, and picturing contemporary China as an economic giant being eroded by violence.
