Lao Qiang Opera dubbed "ancient Chinese rock and roll"

Lao Qiang is a style of opera popular in Shaanxi Province. It originated during the Han dynasty and is witnessing a revival after performing in New York City, Tokyo, and next month in France. With its loud and erratic sound, the ancient performance is being put in an unlikely genre: rock and roll.
