China expels French reporter in first such case since 2012

There's just too many western journalists who come to China for short periods and think they know what's best for China. They applied their own cultural and ideological standards and expect the natives to comply forthwith.
The standard of reporting really is poor. Sensational, tabloid dross.
She wasn't expelled. Her valid visa was not renewed and as with every country, you cannot legally stay in a foreign country without a valid visa. She would not be expelled if she left the country before the visa expires.
