North Korea, protectionism still the biggest risks ahead of Sino-US relationship after election: said former U.S. Trade official
A long-term Republican, Timothy P. Stratford, managing partner in the Beijing office of a Washington D.C.-headquartered international law firm, talks about the risks and challenges ahead of Sino-US relationship after the election.
As a former Assistant U.S. Trade Representative, Mr. Stratford was responsible for developing and implementing U.S. trade policy toward Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao and Mongolia. He worked closely with other senior US and Chinese officials from numerous government departments and agencies to address problems encountered by companies engaged in bilateral trade and investment.
