Before supermarkets came along in Hong Kong, most people bought their rice in traditional rice shops. Shopkeepers would create custom rice blends with various textures for their many customers. But today, these shops are almost extinct. In this episode of Uniquely Hong Kong, we visit a rice shop and speak to the owner who tells us about this now dwindling trade.
