Hong Kong born British man searches for his long lost nanny

In the first few years after birth, Hugh Grew, son of a colonial civil servant, could only speak Cantonese, taught by his Ah Yee, or maid, who was with him all the time.  In the late 1950s, when he was about 10, his parents told him that Ah Yuet, as he has always remembered the name, had left for another employer. He never believed that, suspecting that his parents let her go because they had become too close.
