The zero waste challenge

Hannah Chung has embarked on a ‘zero waste challenge’, challenging herself to go a year without producing plastic waste.


Continued.., the plastic bag levy is rather ineffective as people just got used to it now, a more effective way would be to ban plastic retail bags and replace them with paper bags made from recycled paper and charge a recycling levy which would go towards subsidizing the recycling process. But then again Disneyland is more important ?
It is possible, plastic did not exits until the 18th late century and people survived , i recently walked into a clothing shop and was given a plastic bag for my purchase when i asked why they don't use biodegradable paper bags for their clients the cashier staff just gave me blank stares not even trying to comprehend what they were doing!
