Minnesota, USA treated to rare light show

October 9, 2015

Minnesota residents were treated to a light show from the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, on Wednesday (October 7). The sky over the city of Duluth glowed with shimmering streaks of green and yellow, caused by the electrically charged particles from the sun colliding with the earth's atmosphere, according to the website northernlights.com.
