Women immigrants knit new beginnings

Li Yong-ping, a housewife and newly-arrived immigrant from mainland China, is one among many others who tried to look for part-time jobs but failed. The lack of bilingual skills and inflexibility in work hours often hold women immigrants back from becoming employed. However, a non-profit, Christian organization called "3H Handicraft" has created an opportunity for them to knit and therefore work at home. In this video, Li Yong-Ping shares how her new-found occupation has improved her quality of life.
