Cathay flight attendants to work-to-rule over pay

Dec 12, 2012

The Cathay Pacific Flight Attendants Union said on Monday that it would take industrial action over a pay dispute with the airline company’s management. The union said after a general meeting that union members would begin a policy of work-to-rule at first, and would only go on strike as a last resort should the company refuse to listen to them. Union chairman Dora Lai Yuk-sim declined to further discuss the group’s strategy, saying the union would announce the date of action at a time it deemed appropriate.
