Homeward Bound: the journey home of two migrant workers for Chinese New Year

Yuan Zhitong and his wife Zhang Junmei have been working in a Shenzhen factory since 2007. Every year before spring festival, they embark on a gruelling journey to reach their home village in rural Henan province. One SCMP reporter followed them and spent Chinese New Year in their home.
