Hong Kong police launch five-day operation against jaywalking and other offences

Police began a city-wide operation against jaywalking and other traffic offences on Friday.

These include disobeying light signals, crossing within 15 metres of a pedestrian crossing without using it and climbing over kerbside fences to carriageways.

Officers will issue summons against offenders during the operation.
