Hong Kong by wheelchair: a different perspective on our city's accessibility

April 21, 2017

Dozens of participants experienced a half day in wheelchairs, completing six assigned tasks at different spots in Wan Chai.

The workshop, organised by WNYG Media Awards in conjunction with Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADA), aimed to bring out the possible daily challenges faced by wheelchair users and reflect on the city’s barrier-free designs and facilities.

Photographer Kevin Cheng led the discussion and shared his experience as a wheelchair user. Our culture reporter Rachel Cheung joined them.
