This article originally appeared on ABACUS Happy Lunar New Year! With the Year of the Pig upon us, it only seemed right to mark the biggest holiday of the year here in Hong Kong with a special edition of the podcast focusing on the animals of the zodiac. In case you don't know, the Chinese zodiac system has twelve animals in it. In order from first to last, they are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig. Victoria and I ran down the list to find our favorite gaming "animals" to match each one. As you can probably tell from the human character Solid Snake in the headline, we didn't stick to the strict definition of an actual real animal, but rather the game that most comes to mind when thinking of certain animals. Skyrim, for instance, is easily associated with dragons... even though Esther points out that they're actually wyverns. (Spoilsport.) Listen to the podcast and let us know what you think! We missed a lot of obvious games, so feel free to reach out and let us know what you'd pick for each animal. You can reach out to me on Twitter here , or Victoria here .
