The Vivo S1 Pro for Southeast Asia has a brand new look
With a quad-camera setup, the new S1 Pro looks nothing like its China version
Vivo is bringing the S1 Pro to Southeast Asia, but it has little in common with the original Vivo S1 Pro launched in China back in May.
With a quad-camera setup on the back and a water drop notch on the front, the new Vivo S1 Pro looks more similar to the recently unveiled Vivo S5. The mid-range device targets the fashion-seeking youth market segment. It was released in the Philippines on Wednesday and will later roll out to Indonesia and Malaysia.
The Southeast Asian S1 Pro runs on a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 665. The four cameras on the back include a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle shooter, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. There’s also a 32MP selfie camera on the front. The 6.38-inch screen uses a 1080p Super AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The new S1 Pro starts at about US$314.
