Depending on what you’re looking at, Huawei’s next smartwatch could look very different or almost identical to its predecessor.

Leaks from German tech site Winfuture show a brand new design for the Huawei Watch GT 2e. Gone are the circular dials on the GT 2. Instead, the upcoming watch will sport two rectangular buttons on the right. If you have trypophobia, look away right now because one of the strap designs features a slew of inexplicable holes, which wasn't seen last year.

At 25g (0.88 ounces), the GT 2e is nearly 40% lighter than the GT 2. Otherwise, Winfuture says the GT 2e has many identical specs. Those include a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454x454 pixels and a 455mAh battery.

Huawei is currently the world’s fourth best-selling wearable brand, trailing Apple, Xiaomi and Samsung, according to research firm IDC.
