The upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro will reportedly come with a long-sought feature among the brand’s fans: Wireless charging. Leaks of the specs for the upcoming OnePlus handsets come from Ishan Agarwal and show that the Pro model will have 30W wireless charging. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are expected to launch sometime in April.

According to the leaks, both phones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 5G chip and have 16MP selfie cameras. On the back, OnePlus 8 has three cameras, including one with a 48MP sensor. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a quad-camera setup with two 48MP sensors. OnePlus is also giving a boost to the display by giving the Pro model a 120Hz AMOLED display. The OnePlus 8 sticks with a 90Hz display, as featured on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 8 phones will also have larger batteries than their predecessors.

With the Covid-19 pandemic still disrupting markets, it’s not clear when the new phones will be available and how many will go up for sale first. OnePlus is also facing a harsh market as global smartphone sales dropped 14% in February from the same month last year.
