But the company now says it’s finally ready to roll out a wireless charger and a new smartphone that supports it. In a forum post , OnePlus announced the Warp Charge 30 Wireless that it says can juice up a OnePlus 8 series phone from 1% to 50% in half an hour, which doesn’t sound bad for a phone using more power-hungry 5G connectivity . The phones are rumored to have batteries between 4,300mAh to 4,510mAh . CEO Pete Lau said on Weibo that it’s “nearly as quick as wired charging.” For anyone who wants to use a wireless charger they already own, OnePlus says the OnePlus 8 will also be compatible with all Qi wireless chargers at 5W.
