The most expensive thing in smartphone giant’s store is a 25 piece furniture set
We’re continually surprised by the number of things Xiaomi sells in its stores: Air purifiers, TVs, toy robots, scooters… oh, and of course, smartphones.
Even by those standards, their latest addition really stands out, because they’ve just added a 25 piece furniture set.

It’s part of Xiaomi’s ecosystem, where it invests or partners with a wide range of companies. Xiaomi gets to sell those products in their stores, drawing customers in by offering a much wider range of things than they ordinarily would -- while those companies get featured by Xiaomi.
Xiaomi launches a mini wall-mounted washing machine... for underwear?

Design wise, you could be mistaken for thinking they are from Ikea or the Japanese minimalist company Muji. Xiaomi says they are made from European Elm trees, with the leather sourced from American cowhide.
So what will they set you back? $4,400 -- making it the most expensive thing in Xiaomi’s store.
