This article originally appeared on ABACUS It’s been less than six months since the launch of the OnePlus 6 in May, and now the OnePlus 6T is here. If you’re wondering what it’s like, we have it with us. Check out OnePlus 6T on Amazon Before we get to the phone though, I want to mention how much I like the packaging: It doesn’t look cheap at all, and feels tougher than boxes I get from other brands, like Xiaomi. It has the number 6 printed on the front, as well as the words “Unlock The Speed” printed on the side. With its red and white color, it looks just like a Christmas gift. (Not that I actually get to keep the phone myself!) Inside the box, you’ll find a 3.5mm headphone to USB Type-C adapter, a SIM tray tool, a fast charge cable in striking red, and a charging adapter that supports OnePlus’ Dash Charge technology. There’s also a well made protective case. And one more thing: OnePlus fans will be excited to find a message card from CEO Pete Lau. Just like the box, the phone doesn’t feel cheap at all, despite its budget-friendly starting price of US$549. The model we got is the Midnight Black variant, which has a soft touch matte finish that feels great in-hand. The phone doesn’t feel slippery at all, and I feel like it’s built to last. Also, I prefer the tiny notch on the OnePlus 6T than the wider notches seen on other smartphones. That’s it for now. Stay tuned for more!
