Can't buy a Huawei? Honor's hole-punch phone is an affordable alternative
Huawei’s budget sub-brand sells online in the US
If you live in the US and want a Huawei smartphone, well, good luck with that. After major US carriers backed out of plans to sell Huawei’s devices last year, the brand has pretty much been locked out of the country.
But there is another way to get a Huawei handset... well, kinda, thanks to their lower-cost sub-brand, Honor.
Their latest flagship, the Honor View 20, is coming out this week. The standout feature here? Instead of the usual notch, it's got a hole in the top left corner of the 6.4-inch display -- that's where you'll find the selfie camera.

Anyway, earlier I said it's another way to get a (sorta) Huawei phone. Why? Because Honor specializes in putting high-end features from Huawei phones into cheaper handsets.
The View 20 begins shipping this week across Europe and a number of Asian countries, starting at €570 (US$648) with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
This time around, Honor USA has already told American fans to stay tuned for further announcements about the View 20. We’ve reached out to Honor for more information and will update if we hear back.
