Vibe: This is a small place with seating for about 20 people. Decor is clean and modern but probably not enough to make you want to hang out for any length of time. 
Who to take: Stop off with friends after school. If it's not too hot, get a takeaway and sit in the park or watch the sun set over the harbour.
What's hot: There is a good selection of starters and snacks. If there are enough of you, you might spring for the supreme platter, which includes cheese fingers, chicken wings, spring rolls and potato wedges with a mixed green salad. If there are only two of you, the spring rolls or the mozzarella cheese fingers are satisfying.
There are six cheese fingers per serving and they come with a little lettuce and tomato and a squirt of Thousand Island dressing. The fingers, for once, are not served so blisteringly hot that you have no choice but to wait for them to cool. The breadcrumb coating is crisp and the cheese within is satisfyingly gooey. A dollop of tangy cranberry sauce to dip them in was the only thing missing.
The pizzas are available in three sizes, all served on a home-made thin crust. There are a dozen or so choices, all of them quite familiar, such as Hawaiian, pepperoni and a very tasty Napolitana which features anchovy, black olives and capers. The toppings are generous and embedded in a wonderfully thick layer of cheese. You can also choose your own. 
There are a few salads to choose from, as well as specials such as baked mussels, fish and chips and spare ribs. But if you're here and not in the mood for a pizza, you're most likely in the mood for pasta. There is a good range of sauces to choose from, including the ever popular carbonara, but surprisingly no Bolognese. The shrimp and mushroom in a cream sauce is highly recommended - and huge. Most of the pasta is spaghetti but there are a couple of options with angel hair and a couple with penne.
Home-made chocolate mousse is the only dessert. The menu says it is made without sugar but it is deliciously sweet and sticky.
What's not: Coke, Sprite and Nestea are the only choices on the disappointing soft drinks menu.
Cost: Pizzas are HK$88-HK$188 depending on size, starters are HK$33-HK$78, while pasta options are all HK$78. Two people will eat very well for around HK$250.
