Classy interim for Bossini
PROFIT for Bossini International leapt 835.3 per cent to $9.74 million for the six months to September 30.
The garment retailer's earnings per share soared 834.2 per cent to 3.55 cents.
The directors have recommended an interim dividend of one cent per share.
Turnover jumped 83.2 per cent to $371.15 million.
Director Law Ka-sing attributed the growth to the group's consolidation and operation streamlining, increased retail shop space, enhanced service and quality and in-fashion styles.
He admitted the group's spring and summer sales in China in the calendar year were below expectation.
