Calling all Bat-fans: get ready for a bat-tastic summer ride as the super cool Bat-pod revs its way across Hong Kong in a fortnight-long roadshow.
From June 28 to July 8, the real Bat-pod from the film The Dark Knight Rises will be on display inside a truck that will be touring around town so fans can get up close. The 3.7-metre-long, 330kg Bat-pod has been brought all the way from Leavesden Studio in England to Hong Kong, its first stop on its tour of Asia.
Warner Brothers Hong Kong took to Facebook to poll local fans on the districts they wanted Batman's vehicle to appear. The results were Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok, Central, Wan Chai and Tuen Mun.
To celebrate the city tour, Warner Brothers is holding an online photo competition with some fantastic movie prizes up for grabs. All you have to do is take photos of the Bat-pod in as many different locations as possible and post them to events section of the Facebook page. Caption them with the location of the vehicle when you shot it, tag five of your friends.
The winners will be those who upload the most photos of the Bat-pod at different locations, and they will get some cool bat-errific movie swag.
