Model and celebrity mum Qiqi Yam (pictured) was at Elements celebrating the arrival of Papinee last Thursday. Papinee - a 'lifestyle' global brand for children and adults that includes decor, 'whimsical furnishing and magnificent accessories' - transformed the shopping mall into a fantasy world. Five separate areas of the enormous mall are now home to its installations, which include an English owl, a Japanese cat, a monkey from Mexico, a lion from Kenya and a deer from New York. Children can obtain a special Papinee passport in which to collect stamps and stickers from the various displays. Once their passports are full they can redeem them for special Papinee postcards. With a donation of HK$50 or more to the Education Development Foundation, or after spending at least HK$800, shoppers can take part in workshops, including two on African dance on August 11 and two on making an eco-xylophone on August 25. Qiqi was thrilled with the displays. 'It feels like my favourite brand has come to life, and my daughter, Ella, loves it too,' she said. Aside from Qiqi and a smattering of Papinee executives, there was a group of children smiling and clutching Papinee stuffed animals. One little boy, holding a stuffed owl, said: 'I love the owl the most. I love her eyes. I want to hug her when I go to bed.' Another boy said simply: 'I have a monkey.' Then the smallest girl, cradling a tiger, let out a startling roar.
