Producers of luxury goods regularly collaborate with artists to market their goods. Now property developers are getting in on the act. New World Development enlisted Galerie Perrotin to curate the Living with Art exhibition at the clubhouse of the Signature, its latest luxury residential high-rise in Mid-Levels. The exhibition opened last Thursday and features contemporary art by established and up-and-coming artists including Italian multimedia artist Paola Pivi, South Korean-born American painter Jin Meyerson and Czech sculptor Klara Kristalova. A coffee table book titled 66 Private Collectables was also launched at the event. The book features 66 images of rare art, jewellery, cars and watches - a nod to the 66 flats at the Signature. The book is being sold for HK$1,000, with proceeds going to the K11 Art Foundation, a non-profit organisation that aims to nurture the local arts community.
