Do you know about the very first emperor of China? His name was Qin Shihuang. The Great Wall of China was started during his reign.

When he died, in the year 210BC, he was buried with an army of over 8,000 warriors made from terracotta. The soldiers were meant to protect him in the afterlife. They were only found by accident in 1974, over 2,000 years later.

Now you can see them yourself. From now until November, Hong Kong is holding an exhibition called 'The Majesty of All Under Heaven: The Eternal Realm of China's First Emperor'. Twenty of these mysterious terracotta warriors and their horses are coming to the Hong Kong Museum of History from their home in Xian in central China.

The world-famous figures include a terracotta general, a standing archer, a kneeling archer, an acrobat, a cavalry horse and a chariot horse.

The museum has spent more than HK$10 million to make six cutting-edge multimedia programmes for the exhibition. Projection, digital animation and augmented reality will help take visitors deep into the past.
