Tibet's yaks get own bank

THE world's first yak sperm bank has been established in Tibet and is set to hold deposits of up to 200,000 tubes of frozen yak sperm.

It was set up, according to Chinese authorities, because Tibetan farmers had to rely on traditional, natural methods of mating yaks - nature poking its nose in again.
