FLEMINGTON trainer Lee Freedman is already looking towards the A$1.5 million Cox Plate (2,040 metres) at Moonee Valley in October with Hong Kong-owned three-year-old Look Who's Talking.
'It seems to me that there's every chance he will develop into a Cox Plate horse next season,' Freedman says of Look Who's Talking.
'He's been given every chance to develop and mature and I believe he'll show the benefit of that in the coming 12 months.' Look Who's Talking, who is raced by Hong Kong air freight operators Francis Lui, Adam Hassan and Ricky Leung, will be joining Freedman's stable in the coming weeks.
He may be prepared for the rich autumn carnival in Sydney but more than likely he will race next in Brisbane in May, June and July.
After that Look Who's Talking would be put aside for the spring carnival in Melbourne . . . and the Cox Plate.
Look Who's Talking has, until now, been in the care of New Zealand trainer Nigel Tiley.
