I WOULD like to offer the following advice to all future patrons of the Gold Coast Hotel in the New Territories - don't bring any babies. They don't welcome strollers in the hotel. If you really insist, you can make use of the valet parking service available to park your stroller outside the hotel at your own risk. Don't venture inside the hotel. Anywhere beyond the lobby is a restricted zone. Even a peek at their cafe lounge is prohibited. You should call in advance to announce your intention to use the facility. Don't use the washrooms. They are reserved for hotel/restaurant patrons. It doesn't count even if you were a past or a future patron. Finally, don't show off the hotel to your overseas friends. It will only bring embarrassment. How are they going to plan their next holiday with this resort hotel if everything is restricted or out of bounds? There is no sneak preview. Is this what Hong Kong Gold Coast has to offer? The hotels along the Australian Gold Coast are definitely on the top of my list. SYLVIA LAU Kowloon
