Fiji to allow immigrants

A FIJIAN Cabinet committee has recommended the country allow between 5,000 and 7,000 families comprising no more than four people each to immigrate. The plan would allow Hong Kong business immigrants into the country for an outlay of US$130,000 (HK$1 million).

Each family would have to pay US$30,000 to the Government and another US$100,000 towards investment projects to be identified and approved by the Government.
