A MAN who agreed to arrange for 277 kilograms of heroin to be bought in the Golden Triangle and smuggled to Hong Kong via China was sentenced to 23 years' [NB CORRECTION sentence was 25 years NOT 23] jail by the High Court.

The prison term was imposed by Mr Justice Patrick Chan on Chun Yeung, 39, after a jury found him guilty of five counts of conspiracy to traffic in a dangerous drug.
Chun was said to have admitted the conspiracy after being arrested at Kai Tak last January.
