PARENTS and teachers are urged to form a united front in the education of youngsters, an Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) official said.

Introducing a new moral education video package, Talk With Me, the ICAC Acting Assistant Director of Community Relations, Michael Tsang Keen-sang, said the video package was the first joint project between the ICAC and the Education Department's Committee on Home-School Co-operation.

'Adolescents undergo a significant transitional stage in character building as they enter secondary school. These young students face new challenges, while some parents may think that their children are all set once they enter secondary school,' said Mr Tsang.

'We at the commission realise that apart from making the public aware of the dire consequences of corruption, it is even more important to inculcate a sense of fairness and to instil a sound value system among young people.

'Through this package, we hope to strengthen their ability to resist the temptations of corruption from their formative years,' he said.
