ARMSTRONG World Industries Inc says it is entering a joint venture with a Chinese company to manufacture and market mineral fibre acoustical ceilings on the mainland. Armstrong and Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Co will begin construction of a manufacturing facility on a site near Shanghai this year to service all of China and to export to other countries. The plant will employ more than 200 people.
