STAMP collectors queued up at post offices throughout the territory last Tuesday to get their copies of the new Year of the Pig stamps. Elsewhere there were more smiles as Fringe Festival entertainers delighted the crowds with mime, juggling and street theatre. Not smiling were Kowloon City residents alarmed by plans to extend flight hours at Kai Tak airport. They said the new plan would aggravate the already serious noise pollution problem in the district where 30,000 live.
