A JURY yesterday convicted a hairdresser of buggery and committing an act of gross indecency with an 11-year-old boy. The boy told the High Court he had visited 28-year-old Cheng Man-chiu's flat on June 26 last year. After Cheng sexually abused him, the boy said, the man had given him some video-game tokens, telling him to say nothing. Cheng denied both offences, claiming the boy had asked to visit his flat to play with his three dogs. Deputy Judge Burrell remanded Cheng in custody, calling for background reports. He deferred sentencing until February 14.
