Bon Jovi's film offer

ROCK star Jon Bon Jovi is negotiating to star in a sequel to the hit movie The Crow.

Brandon Lee, who played the title character, lost his life in a freak accident while shooting the original.

For many months it looked doubtful whether The Crow would ever be released after Lee was shot dead during the last few days of filming.

But film makers were able to salvage the movie which went on to become a cult hit, grossing more than US$50 million (HK$386 million).

Now producer Edward Pressman is anxious to cash in on the film's success and has offered the title role to Bon Jovi. He is expected to make a decision within the next few weeks.
