Humphries was admitted to the Monterey Community Hospital where his medical status was still being diagnosed. He was preparing for this weekend's AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am in Northern California.
Humphries completed 24-of-49 passes for 275 yards, two interceptions and one touchdown as the San Diego Chargers lost to the San Francisco 49ers 49-26 in Super Bowl 29. Humphries missed some time in the fourth quarter with an injured knee, but did return later in the game.
