ON January 19, I was involved in a car accident near Stanley.
My car was badly damaged, but luckily, although badly shaken, me and my two small children were not injured.
Whilst I was trying to get hold of the police, there were two incidents of note. The first was an approach by a lady with a baby in the car, who proceeded to throw a tantrum, because I couldn't get my badly damaged car off the road.
This 'display' only led to my frightened children becoming more upset. Later a second lady with her husband came and asked whether she could sit in the car with my children, while I sorted out all the details.
To the first encounter - I hope I never have the pleasure of crossing your path again! To the second encounter - a big thank you.
